Wild and Precious Life

“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” - Mary Oliver

I would surmise you have occasionally realized that your life was (is) precious. However, how about wild? Or is (was) the thought of a wild life too far removed from your demure lifestyle to be even remotely considered?

As you have probably experienced, this spiritual pathless path of ours is one wild, courageous, and adventurous undertaking with a huge sense of uncertainty. And I would suggest that what you plan to do with it, simply leave to the Doer.
